【Hometown Specialty Sharing】

We’ve got various unique snacks from different regions of China，the funny thing is that I almost brought one out of two. But，the original idea of this activity is that，each audience is also the participant，they should take specialty and share with others，so that we have a probability to taste more special snacks from China.

There will always be regrets, and it is precisely because of regrets that we will have more possibilities to get together.

【Benjamin’s specialties】

1、Mijiao（米焦） is a kind of food in Shangrao city, Jiangxi province. After noodles are deep-fried, they are mixed with sugar into small pieces. It is similar to Shaqima（沙琪玛） in the north of China. It is one of the famous pastries in Shangrao.

2、I was today years old when I found out the name of this snack is called“芝麻芋头酥”。

3、Dried pumpkin，eggplant，taro and grapefruit peel with flour and sauce（南瓜干、茄子干、芋头干、柚子皮和豆豉粿），we always pair them with rice porridge in the morning，sometimes，it’s our leisure snacks.

4、Jiangxi specialties

I also prepared some Jiangxi specialties，they are 酒糟鱼（from Nanchang）、南酸枣糕（from Ganzhou）、九江茶饼（from Jiujiang）、糍粑（from Fuzhou）. These are all famous unique foods in Jiangxi and they do have a wonderful flavour. Tourists from other place are willing to buy and send them to their acquaintances.

Once I’m eating the specialties from my hometown, I feel homesick. Meanwhile，they can cure myself and let me get rid of nostalgia.

【The Lantern Festival】

We held the activity on Feb. 27th, 2021，learnt and experienced some interesting customs jointly! The previous day is The Lantern Festival，so this activity was not a coincidence but an elaborate preparation.
