What do you know about anxiety? Do you often feel anxious in personal life and wok life? Anxiety is a feeling of being worried and scared for no good reason. I suppose that most of us have felt some kind of anxiety in our life.
Literally, we won’t think about it seriously until it does affect our mental health, and go see a doctor. Nowadays, more and more people are looking for help from psychiatrists or psychologists as a result too much anxiety. However, some of them feel scared and worried for not real reasons.

Recent study shows that anxiety is not necessarily a bad thing, and it is a result of natural selection. Natural selection, as we all know, is the term used by Charles Darwin to describe the principle of evolution. The random changes in biology of a living thing have shaped the states to deal with different situations.
Anxiety is a natural emergency response of organisms to cope with difficult or even life-threatening environments. This feeling gives them a warning that something dangerous is coming and be ready to take actions or prepare for actions.
Why do some people feel much anxiety than the others? For them, suffered from anxiety in life, they could not manage a normal life as usual. Anxiety has already affected their behaviors and mental conditions. They need a hand to get them out.

Our attitudes toward anxiety can help us live with it easily and acceptably. Let’s hear a professor from USA on BBC program. He said he has been treated patients for anxiety disorders for more than 40 years at the University of Michigan. And only half way through that he started realizing that anxiety there is not a bad thing.
He continued to explain that anxiety is a natural response when encountering difficult situations, it is self-protection mechanism. But for these patients, it is a false alarm like a smoke detector starts to make a noise when you burn a toast. After the doctor revealed the underlying principle of anxiety to his patients, they said, “It makes perfect sense. I won’t need you help after all. ”

Evolution helps us deal with different environments and avoid dangers. Random changes then have developed after many many years as a in- built mechanism to protect us.
But sometimes it can get wrong and give false information. That is the realm of psychiatry and psychology. If we know some things about these topics, we can get some tips to treat ourselves. Life is hard and we have to deal with it anyway.
