With me along the strip of Herbage strown

That just divides the desert from the sown,

Where name of Slave and Sultan is forgot--

And Peace to Mahmúd on his golden Throne!

我抚过飞蓬漫天的狭长之路

将大地分为荒漠与田埂，

在那儿奴隶与苏丹均被遗忘——

唯有牟罕穆德安宁于其永恒的金色王座！
