Make progress by helping others
One lesson I learned from Li Xiaolai is to improve oneself by helping others. By teaching others, we always learn something better. Moreover, if we help others make progress, we have a stronger motivation to improve ourselves as well. Besides, the feeling of having accomplished something is stronger when we get better while guiding others.
Li Xiaolai is extremely good at making money by learning himself and teaching others. Thanks to his eloquence and great persuasiveness, his super intelligence and strong assertiveness, he can make great profits by being a role model. Even though I am a nonprofit, I can draw from his practice and innovate my teaching as well.
For example, I can tell my students that to become a better person, you have to exercise, read, write, and apply what you learn daily. If they subscribe to this idea, they are encouraged to join Jianshu and write every day about any topic that interests them, including training reports and book reviews. Just as I do in the 007 WeChat group, those willing to write are encouraged to send the links to their writing via the Enterprise WeChat group. Then we can appreciate and comment on each other's work and efforts in health, study and life. For it to be natural and fun, I should not force everyone to exercise, read and write, but only encourage the active ones and be a pioneer and role model myself. If I and some students can continue like this, maybe more and more students will be attracted and join us. Over time, everyone who joins will benefit: get a better figure, read more books, write better, make more friends, and become better people.
What a brilliant idea!
