听力学习的一点建议de英文 (刺身篇)
Given that there are so many different methods to improve listening skills in the education market, quite a few English learners may get confused about which one is better and more effective. It is a common view that students should listen to English as often as possible. Nevertheless, I may hold a totally different view of listening to English. The difficulty of listening to English for pupils who study English as the second language is not only the pronunciation and speed of foreigners’ speaking in recordings but also the content and background information of topics they are talking about. Sometimes students think a recording is a lot easier for them, probably because it doesn't contain so much obscure information that they have to learn in advance. If the recording contains a large amount of information related to some professional fields such as biology, economy, and medicine, the listener will find it beyond understanding and unable to grasp the main point. In other words, reading the relevant information of listening materials at first is more helpful than simply listening more, but it doesn’t mean that listeners can directly read the transcript of the listening. I hope this would be useful to you guys.
