Summary
Queen's death stimulates countries to reassess their relationship with the British Crown.
Barbados is the first country in about 30 years to ditch the monarchy.Several other Caribbean nations, including Jamaica prepare to sever ties. In Australia, polls have shown that people support establishing a republic than keeping the monarchy, but one expert said that they ultimately will fever the stability provided by the current system since they are confused about choosing it's head of state.In Canada, people no longer want monarchy but they have to face significant legal hurdles. Only by unanimous consent from the country's federal parliament can they pass one legislation. Therefore, it's a high threshold to reach for them.
