临近年底，各种年度榜单纷纷出炉。其中最能体现全球趋势的，无疑是 Google 的年度热搜榜。12月12日，Google 发布了年度热搜榜以及回顾视频“Year In Search 2018”，告诉我们这一年里大家都在关心些什么。
根据榜单，热搜前三位分别是 World Cup（世界杯）、Avicii（艾维奇，已故著名 DJ）和 Mac Miller（迈克·米勒，已故著名说唱歌手）。其中，Meghan Markle（梅根·马克尔）因与英国哈里王子的结合而成为年度搜索频率最高的人。
此外，谷歌还公布了全球范围内的热搜新闻关键词、演员、运动员、已故名人、电影、音乐人/乐队以及电视剧集/节目榜单。今年夏天播出的中国古装剧《延禧攻略》在谷歌年度全球热搜电视剧集榜单中位居首位。
