• Popup 是个坑，大部分时间PM、设计师、工程师可能都在鸡同鸭讲，接下来的三章会梳理常见的 Popup 案例。

• 其实很犹豫怎么定这一章的命名；Modal Window 是出生自桌面应用的原始形态， Pop-up (Window) 是口语化版本，移动时代没有窗口的概念于是进一步简化成了 Popup。Prompt 在工程师里使用得较多。偶尔可见 Overlay 和 Dialog。 考虑到普遍性最后还是决定用 Popup。

• 彩蛋：关于 Toast 这个有趣的叫法，大多数人认为是 Android 的独创，其实借鉴自 MSN；

• 从 Toast 衍生出的 Snackbar 增加了单一操作，如撤销、再试一次等。

• Office 比较独辟蹊径，MessageBar 和 Callout 两个用法都并不常见。
