pugna （fight)

Clement was walking in the marketplace. A huge crowd was in the market. Servant and maid were buying food. Many bakers were selling bread. Poet was reciting. Greek’s merchant was arguing with the farmer.  The merchant was angry, demanding money. Suddenly the farmer was punching the Greek man because the Greek man cursed the farmer. Pompeians were laughing and was encouraging the farmer. Clements heard the uproar and fighting hurried. At last, the farmer overcame the merchant and chased him in the market. Pompeians praised the farmer as brave.
