例子
TE在三月份的一周要文提到了:
Meanwhile, Beto O'Rourke threw his hat into the ring to be the party's presidential cnadidate; he came a close second in the Senate race in Texas last years.
在这句里,还个固定搭配throw/toss your hat in/into the ring( to announce that you are going to try to win a contest (such as an election))
Yet another candidate has thrown his hat into the ring.
