自现象级英语

晨读第二天，主题有旅游、车站的日常对话和词汇，发音关注易被忽视的误区

发音

/i:/ 舌头不接触上颚，不同于汉语的“衣”

现实中的变音现象如baby，really的发音，需要特别注意。

police 和please的区别：辅音群pl的连音

speak中/p/听来是/b/但实际上是不送气的/p/

练习语音时，不要有吞音的概念。因为不充分了解吞音的概念，反而容易自作主张地犯错。

长词要慢读，读清楚每个音。

强调的单词重读 It was the best vacation ever.  It is the best learning community, period.

不弱读：wait for中 for在词尾时， 如：Which train are you waiting for?

发音练习：结合想象的场景来设定语气，加深记忆。

旅游

Where did you spend your vacation? （句型Where to？）

Tell me everything! 语气夸张  Fill me in.快跟我说说

价格 Something is very/super/pretty/quite expensive/pricy/costly. /The price is high. /Its price just skyrocketed. 

rip-off n. 敲竹杠 slang

棒极了 Yes. Very. 例如：Was it expensive? -Yes. Very.

把钱都花光了 I spent every cent I had. /I'm bankrupt夸张/broke破产/penniless. /I don't have any money left. 

sound  例如 It sounds like a plan. 听起来不错 It sounds a good idea/ good/terrible.

车站

好久 I've been waiting here for ages.  联想：你一点没老You haven't aged a day.

开往 This train is heading/bound for Manhattan. /This is a Manhattan-bound train/flight.

你弄错了（礼貌） I'm afraid you've made a mistake.   联想 I'm afraid you have to leave the building. 赶人

8:08 读作eight o eight

列车时刻表：schedule, timetable 例如：It's scheduled. 安排上了

不在家 The movie was out while I was away on vacation.

出门be out of town 例如: When you are in town, let's...

迟到late，tardy（书面语）

错误 mistake, hiccup, hitch, glitch

对准..拍照 train his camera on the deer
