I saw you crying when the game ended, and I started to cry too. How do you get over a loss like that? I want to send you a T-shirt to sign, but my mom says it would be too expensive to mail to you.

I wish you good luck this year, I know you’re the best professional soccer player in the world. I want to be as good as you someday. There’s a card for you to sign and an envelope with my address on it so you can send it back. I hope you write back, but it’s OK if you don’t. I’m just glad that I could tell you how much I look up to you.

②To answer your question, I think it’s certainly not easy to get over a loss like that. I depend on my family, coaches, and teammates to help me improve and focus on what I can control.

③But let me just say that for someone as young as you, you should just try to be better every day. Winning and losing matters, but it doesn’t matter more than things like sportsmanship, fun and teamwork.
