1、What’s the main idea and the message or value of the movie that the director is going to convey?

A good coach can change people's life.  We should have beliefs, like coach Carter. Inspirational movie.

2、Find three points that most touching or what you think is the most important details(conversation、picture or plot).

A/ Part of growing up is making your own decisions and living with the consequences. Carter told his son.  This is what I always told my daughter. And I still remember those decisions I made, and I accept all the consequences, though not all good.

B/ When Carter said he was one of them, as a black man, many of his friends were in jail. He wished that he can do something to change the life of those basketball players, they are just teenagers and learning is as important as playing basketball. At that time, I felt that Carter has mission. Someone who has mission is in distructable. What's my mission？

C/ In the last competition, though boys were failed, they failed as champion. They never give up. Not only Cater but also all the audiences, we all proud of them. They were in the dark before, but now they stood up, to face the reality and pursue better life, to be the best of themselves. They should be admired.

3、What did you learn from the movie?

Sometimes victory is not the most important thing. To compete like a champion, always keep this spirit, never give up! It reminds me one quote, we never lose, either we win or we learn! Mr Carter taught me to live with belief, do something to change people's life, that kind of joy is irreplaceable. Pursue the good of ourselves.

A bad high school, only 5% can be in college. Carter went there and be the coach of the  basketball team, though they failed in many competition. Then everything changed...
