CryptoStrategies attended a meet

Ran Yi, co-founder of CryptoStrategies, attended a closed-door meeting hosted by Coinall in Shanghai on October 18th. The meeting centered on how blockchain empowers traditional finance and conducted discussions in this regard. Ran delivered a keynote speech revolving around “the future of investment: crypto assets vs. traditional assets”. Ran believes that the cryptocurrency market enjoys a multitude of advantages including high liquidity that makes transactions flexible, high volatility that generates more quantitative trading opportunities and low correlation that reduces the fluctuations of portfolios. He thinks there are four major trends in the future development of crypto asset market. First, cryptocurrency hedge fund will witness rapid development. Second, cryptocurrency custodian services will gradually mature. Third, more and more institutional money will enter the market and become major market players. Fourth, traditional portfolios will strengthen the importance of crypto asset strategies.
