What are you plans for Spring Festival Holidays？I will go on vocations with my girlfriend. I was so busy that I didn’t spend much time with her. It’s a good time for me to do something.

Oh great. You have time to make it for her.You have time to compensate for her. 

I also want to do this. But I can’t believe that my boss assigned a new task to me for my holidays. I need to work overtime during this period.

How is your Spring Festival going ？

It is very good I am busy visiting my relatives and getting much red envelopes

Close relative/distant relatives  近亲 远亲

What are the red envelopes？

It’s a gift of money that is put inside them from elder family members to express good blessings

Culture shock

When you go to foreign countries you will suffer from culture shock 

I can’t handle it I want to come back home
