Day27 Summary
【Summary】
Today, I learnt a thing that intrigued me a lot. I know the existance of it, but I just didn't notice it in the reading. The very particular example in the article is "high street" and "main line". I mistook the writer of this article as an American, and that's why I took "main line " as main street rather than "main line of product". The truth is that as a British writer, he or she prefers "high street" to "main street".
The background information like this is very necessary for readers to take hold of main ideas quickly and accurately. It serves as a kind of way to save time for other more meaningful thinking, such as logic pattern, writer's standpoint etc. To achieve this level, I'd like to accumulate more background information, both visual and audio, to help improve my speed to react and process messages.
