Why did I become a lawyer?

I was born in the northeast of China. From primary school to high school, my grades were good. I was the good seed of the family by their standards.

Chinese parents want you to go to a good college, good university, be a doctor, lawyer or something like that. My family said it’s gonna be good for my future. Obviously, it was happening.

From a financial standpoint, I like lawyers. The dude was like, you know, a lot of lawyers, they make millions of RMB. I got to support myself. It was good for my future.

And so I was like, okay, I try to put it together in my head. I chose to be a lawyer. That’s it. This was the reason why I became a lawyer.
