Task2：Some people say that children should go to school as young as possible, while others believe that children should go to school of at least 7 years old. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

思路解析

个人观点：我认为孩子们应该尽早上学。

原因1：尽早的上学可以培养孩子们独立生活的技能 enhance independent living. 没有了父母的陪伴 without parents' accompany，孩子们会在老师的引导 guidance，学会依靠自己洗漱和整理床铺 rely on themselves to do washing up and make the bed.

原因2：尽早的上学有助于挖掘潜力 reach their potential. 研究表明，儿童处于2-3岁的时候，更容易掌握一门外语 it would be easier for children to acquire a foreign language at a younger age. 可以帮助孩子们从小发展语言方面的天赋。 

原因3：现代父母由于工作原因，没有时间一直陪伴孩子们到7岁才上学，所以父母们通常会选择送孩子们去托儿所，接受早教。Parents tend to send their children to a nursery school in order to receive early childhood education when they are at 2 or 3 years old，because most of parents do not have time to accompany their children till 7 years old due to the busy work.

让步：有的人认为，孩子7岁上学，可以较提高学习效率 improve learning efficency. 因为这个年龄的孩子心智发育 mental development 相对健全，可以将更多的精力投入到学习上 spare more energy on their study，而不需要担心生活自理问题 in self-care. 但是，我们会发现很多在3-4岁的小孩就可以独自登台演出，如：选秀节目中小孩表演弹钢琴，舞蹈等。因此，我们还是要更早的把孩子送到学校接受教育。

In many places today, children start primary school at around the age of six or seven. However, because it is more likely now that both parents work, there is little opportunity for children to stay in their own home up to that age. Instead, they will probably go to a nursery school when they are much younger.

While some people think this may be damaging to child’s development, or to a child’s relationship with his or her parents, in fact there are many advantages to having school experience at a young age.

Firstly, a child will learn to interact with a lot of different people and some children learn to communicate very early because of this. They are generally more confident and independent than children who stay at home with their parents and who are not used to strangers or new situations. Such children find their first day at school at the age of six very frightening and this may have a negative effect on how they learn.

Another advantage of going to school at an early age is that children develop faster socially. They make friends and learn how to get on with other children of a similar age. This is often not possible at home because they are the only child, or because their brothers or sisters are older or younger.

So overall, I believe that, attending school from a young age is good for most children. They still spend plenty of time at home with their parents, so they can benefit from both environments.

如今,很多地方的小孩大概6、7岁开始上小学。但是,因为现在父母双方都工作的可能性越来越大,小孩很少有机会能一直呆在自己家里到这个年龄。他们可能很小就到托儿所去了。

虽然有的人认为这样会对孩子的发展或孩子与父母的关系造成伤害,但其实小时候有上学的体验好处很多。

首先,孩子会学会和很多各不相同的人打交道,有的孩子因此很早就学会了沟通。通常,他们比那些和父母一起呆在家里、不习惯陌生人或新环境的孩子更加自信、独立。这样的孩子到了7岁发现上学第一天非常可怕,这可能对他们的学习产生负面影响。

早上学的另外一个好处是孩子在社交方面发展更快。他们结交朋友,学会如何与年纪相仿的孩子交往。这在家里是不可能做到的,因为他们是独生子女,或者因为他们的兄弟姐妹要么比他们大,要么比他们小。

因此,总的来说,我相信上学早对大多数孩子来说是有好处的。他们也有足够的时间和父母一起在家里，所以他们可以在两种环境中受益。
