To criticize someone is to point out their faults or mistakes.批评某人就是指出他们的错误或错误。

Some people appreciate constructive criticism which can help them develop their skills.有些人喜欢建设性的批评,这有助于他们提高技能。

Some people cannot take any criticism without feeling hurt.有些人不能接受任何批评而不感到受伤。


To praise someone is to let them know that they have done a good job.表扬某人就是让他们知道自己做得很好。

Knowing when and how to praise someone is an important skill.知道何时以及如何表扬某人是一项重要的技能。

It’s important not to praise people when they haven’t done a good enough job.当人们没有做好足够的工作时,不要表扬他们是很重要的。


To apologize to someone is to admit that you have done something wrong or hurtful.向某人道歉就是承认你做了错事或伤害。

One way to apologize is to say you are sorry.道歉的方法之一就是说对不起。

If your apology isn't accepted, it means the person hasn't forgiven you.如果你的道歉不被接受,这意味着这个人没有原谅你。

If you accidentally hurt someone it's usually a good idea to apologize.如果你不小心伤害了某人,道歉通常是个好主意。

To forgive someone is to accept their apology.原谅别人就是接受他们的道歉。

If someone rejects your apology, it means they haven’t forgiven you.如果有人拒绝你的道歉,这意味着他们没有原谅你。


To order people to do something means to use your power or position to get them to do it.命令人们做某件事意味着利用你的权力或地位让他们去做。

Many people dislike being ordered to do things.许多人不喜欢被命令做事。

In many cases, it's better to make a request than order someone to do something.在许多情况下,提出请求比命令某人做某事更好。

A boss may order his employees to do something and they will usually agree to do it, even if they don't want to.老板可能会命令他的员工做一些事情,他们通常会同意做,即使他们不想做。


To encourage someone is to support their efforts, and help build their confidence.鼓励别人就是支持他们的努力,帮助建立他们的信心。

A good teacher encourage students to do their best.一个好老师鼓励学生尽其所能。

To discourage someone is to take away their confidence.使某人泄气就是剥夺他们的信心。

It’s discouraging to work for someone who never shows appreciation for your hard work.为一个从不欣赏你努力工作的人工作是令人沮丧的。

Some people are discouraged if they don't receive praise or recognition for their work.有些人如果因为工作得不到表扬或认可,就会泄气。

If someone rejects your apology,it means they haven't forgiven you.如果有人拒绝你的道歉,这意味着他们没有原谅你。

If someone doesn't follow orders,he or she may be punished.如果有人不服从命令,他或她可能会受到惩罚。

An example of an order : "Get me some tea."一个订单的例子:“给我来点茶。”
