翻译思路拆解 | 阿里巴巴CEO张勇回应女员工被侵害

他同时表示，必须调查清楚，给全体阿里同学和全社会一个交代。
“同时”状语：at the same time/meanwhile；
主语“他”:he；
他表示必须要调查清楚，给大家一个交代：
这个部分可以有2种解读（处理方式）
一种就是把他的这个发言当做他的一个“承诺”：vowed to ...
另外一种就是按字面来, 他是CEO，要求下面的人查：demanded a thorough investigation；
“给...交代”，可以理解为“回应大家的关切”，所以answer是可以用在这里的：answer the concerns of... 或者用available修饰调查结果;
上译文：
At the same time, he vowed to conduct a full investigation, and the result will be made available to all Alibaba workers and the general public.
At the same time, he demanded a thorough investigation to answer the concerns of its staff and the public.
第三句
张勇在阿里内网帖子里为此事中各级主管的冷漠和没有及时处理道歉。
“在阿里内网帖子里”这里大可不必重复，因为上一句刚提到了内网帖子嘛，连接还是很紧密的。
“没有及时处理”可以理解为“延迟”，即delay；也可以理解为“不作为”, inactivity，毕竟在事情还没曝光之前，呵呵……
试着写两个译文：
In the internal memo, Mr. Zhang apologized for the indifference and inactivity of Alibaba supervisors.
Zhang apologized for the management's indifference and delay/inactivity in handling this incident.
第四句
尽管警方仍在调查阶段，但阿里内部认为，事情在员工反馈后没有得到迅速地响应处理，存在重大问题。
这句话结构很明显了：让步状语+主干；
“阿里内部”指的一定是阿里巴巴的内部人员/员工：insiders/employees of Alibaba；
谓语“认为”：believe；
后面的成分还有点长，那必须是从句啊，宾从做宾语；
“没有得到迅速地响应处理”处理为名词短语，做宾从主语：the slow response；
针对什么的response: ...following the victim’s report；
或者看到“没有....”就很容易想到failure这个词，我们之前在外刊群>>知新共学外刊群（8月15日开始）和翻译群里都提到过“反面着笔”的技巧，这是因为英语中有一些常用肯定形式的词，往往有否定的含义，比如：
动词：miss, neglect, fail, ignore, refrain (from), deny, refuse
名词：failure, ignorance, absence, lack
形容词：free, absent, last, short
副词：too，otherwise
介词：beyond, above, before
连接词：unless, or
来几个例句感受一下：

“称”可处理为wrote, 因为这还是“内部帖子”里的内容；
“触动、反思”存在重复，处理一次就好：reflect；
可以增补一个at the end of the post, 可以更好地衔接上下文。
