1. 夏日 Summer Day

 

每一天每一天

Day after day

太阳一门心思

The sun, single-minded

想把地球晒干

Wants to dry the earth to a crust

月亮，躲在一边

The moon, hiding to the side

当啦啦队员

Plays cheerleader

加油、加油、加油

Go, go, go!

干成标本，更像个乞丐

Dried into a specimen, it looks more like a beggar

——却忘了自己

forgetting that it, too,

也是借来的光

only borrows its light

2. 秋天 Autumn

倒像个傻婆子

More like a foolish woman

跑到田间地头

Running to the fields

把肚子里的心思

Spilling all the thoughts

继续 唠唠叨叨地

From her belly, on and on

撒了一地

Scattering them all over the ground

有的金黄  Some gold

有的枯黄  Some sere

——风一吹

When the wind blows

就成了满地闲话

They become gossip scattered everywhere
