Good morning readers! TGIF again!

How's your Saturday so far? It's going to be another sports weekend for me again, I hope. I have worked on a computer simulation model until almost 9 pm now. I didn't realize that this work would be this tough! Hopefully, I can get the problem figure out over the weekend and then do the things I enjoy doing.

I still remember when I was a graduate student a long time ago. It was so difficult for me because my English was poor at that time. Not only I had to study three courses, but also teach undergraduate students in a lab. The only time I took a nice break was when I went to the gym and swam. I did that almost every night.

The school gym was in a student center complex at the university. One day, after my swim, I took my duffle bag and walked out to the big hall. I saw there were more people than usual there. Looked like they were playing ping pong there in many ping pong tables.

I casually put down my bag and went over a table to watch. Somehow I was invited to play a game. I was pretty excited and defeated my opponent without too much trouble. My opponent, a Middle-Eastern looking student, seemed very upset after the game and left. So I asked around what happened to him? It was just a game, what's the big deal? And they told me, "Man! He just won the all-campus championship today!"

Of course. Being beaten by a guy who just walked out of the swimming pool was very upsetting, especially when he had just won the trophy.
