Black Beauty born in a good home, When he was young,his mother told him"You have been well-born and well-raised.I hope you will grow up gentle and good, and never learn bad ways.Do your work with a good will, lift your feet up well when you walk, and never bite or kick,even in play."Black Beauty never forgotten  what his mother said ,he done well .

He is gentle and good,his first master likes him very much.Black Beauty have saved master's life because he haven't walk across a bridge  broken in the middle.What's more,he done his best to bring Dr.White to cure master's wife.

When he had to part with his master ,John and his companies,he was very sad. After that,he suffered very much.He was in charge of many master, some of them don't know how to drive and whip him hard.However,no matter what he suffered,he always did his best and performed gentle and good.

Fortunately,he was bought by some ladies and was taken care by Joe.He will not permanently be sold. A happy ending.
