God’s abandonment

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. ----John3:16

The salvation is not only the deliverance from sins, nor the experience of personal sanctification; the salvation is God’s release from himself and oneness with him. My knowledge of the salvation begins with the salvation from sins, leading to personal sanctification. But the true meaning of the salvation is that the holy spirit let me touch God himself. I am fascinated by the sacrifice of God because of the shock and excitement of a master who was ten thousand times more than himself.

It is deviating if anyone says that we have been called to preach the word of holiness and sanctification. We are called to preach Jesus Christ. He saved us from our sins and made us holy, just part of a wonderful sacrifice.

True abandonment doesn’t have any sense of itself, for the whole of life has been taken by the one for whom we are set. If you don’t know what is the abandonment, do not say it. Unless you can understand what John3:16 says about how God gives himself to men without reservation, otherwise, you will never know what you give up. Our abandonment is to give ourselves up completely to God, just as he gave himself up for us without counting the cost. How the consequences of our renunciation do not show up in our outlook on life, because our lives have been filled with Christ.

Dear God, let me praise you this morning for all that has passed. I am wayward, but you are loving, patient, forgiving and gracious.
