        Today，Henry chose "The spaceship" from Oxford reading tree  series, cuz everything about space fascinates him these days.

        When we read the cover, Henry found out a spaceship, and he saw a strange boy next to Kipper. Floppy was in the spaceship, too. What were they doing? Henry thought that Kipper brought Floppy to have a space travel. He thought the boy was an alien, cuz his ears looked like horns, his face looked green, and his arms were so strange.

      We went into the first two pages, I asked Henry:" What do you find in this picture?" He said:" I find that Kipper is playing TV games?" I asked further:" What kind of game is Kipper playing?" He replied:" A game about space, cuz I see a spaceship in TV." Then I guided him to see what Floppy is doing. He found out very quickly, and said that Floppy was sleeping. I asked:"What does the spaceship above Floppy mean?" Henry said:" That means Floppy was dreaming. He dreams about a spaceship." "Have you found something interesting?" Henry figured out carefully and replied:"Yes. I find that the spaceship in TV and the spaceship in Floppy's dream are similar." "Is there any difference?" "Yes. The spaceship in Floppy's dream has three feet made of bone, but the spaceship in TV has three feet made of metal." That's wonderful. Children are usually good at reading pictures.

      Turn to the next page, Henry and I found that a spaceship landed in a forest. "Wow! A real spaceship!" Said Kipper. This time, Henry said that he was right, the boy next to Kipper was an Alien. The Alien said that he was Zig and he had a dog named Zog. Zig invited Kipper and Floppy to go into space. Kipper was excited, while Floppy was not so happy.

        During their trip,  they got some trouble, the spaceship was hitten by lots of fireballs. All of them were in danger. When a big fireball was coming to the spaceship, Zog was anxious. But Floppy calm down. It successfully controlled  the spaceship and flew it away from the fireballs. Floppy saved them all.

        I asked Henry:" Why does Floppy know how to fly the spaceship?" Henry had no idea. Then I reminded him to look back into the first picture and found out how Kipper played the game. "Oh, look,the buttons on the spaceship in Floppy's dream are the same with the remoter that Kipper used to play games. So Floppy is learning from Kipper."

        Finally, Floppy was awake. It was just a dream. That's funny.

        During the whole story, Henry was very exciting. He even found out all the bugs in this book.

        I'm so happy that Henry told me" Mom, I just understand  why you go to study how to tell an english story. I love you so much." That's awsome.
