I am a writer

But you can treat me like a tree

I drop words

But you can plant them like seeds

I climb the sky

You can climb my branch to see

I soak up light

You can rest in my shadow

I inhale your carbon

You can live on my oxygen

Look around you

There are many others like me

We all depend on each other

Writers and trees

Don’t go through your adult life

Hating trees
