As a VPE, as a Leader

VPE means Vice president Education who is in charge of the education of club members. As a VPE one should schedule the regular meetings for the club. Arrange the mentor for members. And also VPE needs organize the club contests and encourage members to join them. When members finish the education project, VPE should submit it on TI’S website and encourage them to go for the education awards. If the president is absent from the club meeting, VPE will replace the president to open the meeting. Sometimes she can represent the club to vote on district meetings. The last important thing is VPE should build vpe committee, at least find an assistant in order to help to perform the duties.

If vpe wants to finish the job very well,he or she needs to know something clearly, like dcp, dtm, the contest rules, mentor’s rules. There are more than 60 menus. she also needs to know the members very well, and also VPE  needs record every meeting roles the members did. She needs often encourage the members to book speaking and to achieve the education awards. All of these will be helpful for members to make progress.

We need to know what we need to do in each stage.

Basically there are almost 70 manual.  Most of them we needn’t read from the beginning and ending, but we need familiar with them. Then we can introduce to our members what they should do for the next stage. We arrange contest, mentor,workshop according to these manuals.

Here is our meeting roles record,we record the meeting roles our members did in each meeting. Then we can help our new members to finish their meeting roles step by step, from the little roles to the big roles. We can give the equal chance to every member.  If  which members absent recently, we can push them.  If we know more about our members, we can do more for them, we can provide more help.

All of these will be helpful for members to make progress.That’s our prize presentation  in the first meeting in the new year. We awarded the prize and gift to these members who finished their cc,Then we published the information in wechat. That’s a special encouragement.in normal meeting, we can often give congratulations to the members who finished the education projects, CC, CL.  give praise to the members who finished the meeting roles first time, as timer or TM.Recently we began to purplish the certificate to the members who finished each  speech.  that's all the encouragement.In general, grasp   every chance to encourage .

generally, we finished our booking one month  in advance. Then, our members would have enough time to prepare speech, and we will have high level meeting.We need to cultivate the habit. The method is very simple, i punished the booking information in wechat group, then push some members to book one by one. Then I continuously published which members had booked the speaking. our members would find the chances were  losing gradually. that can increase the competition and emergency.Every month I did it. In the last month of the last year. 18 speeches of December have been booked only in one day.That is to cultivate the booking habit.Make plan and let member confirm.I know not every member can finish their plan, but I believe they certainly would try to finish their resolutions. That’s just what we want. Push them, encourage them to set goal and achieve goal.

Contest is really good chance for members to learn sth, experience TM. So encourage every member join contest, not only for the excellent members.Before club contest, I asked our president Ben to  arrange the task to all officers. Each officer invite 4 members join our club contest as speaker. If they can’t, then as volunteer to serve contest.Then, almost every member join our club contest.

Later I encourage our members join other clubs contests, join the division contest , district conference. I apply the chance for them as volunteer to server these contests. Then.There are  most members who joined the different contests in the last year. These members experienced a lot in these contests. They have more enthusiasm  to attend the meeting, give speech, to serve our club. the contest also is a  good chance to become an outing. have a dinner together.  visit the  city together.  then it become a wonderful journey between close friends. that's really meaningful to increase cohesive force for club.

that's all happy and unforgettable. so every contest is a good chance to encourage every member to do sth,learning sth,experience sth, and increase the cohesive force for club.

In the third week of every month,we arrange the workshop meeting. We need arrange the workshop speeches according to the members need. Which aspect you want to improve ,you can arrange the workshop.

That’s the smart part in TM.  Let experience member help the new members, teach them how to do. At the same time. They also grow up, finish their higher education award.I love this part.

We uploaded the speeches videos and ppt in the 360 cloud. They are open for every member ,not only for MK. They are really precious. More people use it. They are more valuable.

now our EK VPE and MK VPE serve for our two clubs at the same time. we use one form to make  the member's record and booking. so our members can choose any club to join the meeting and have double chances.
