Do you see what I’m getting at here? I love that you love your country, your own personal happiness and sense of fulfillment for being a citizen of a country you love is incredibly important. However, if I were you I wouldn’t bother wasting my time trying to convince non-Americans that America is the greatest country in the world because the facts are just not on your side. Just save yourself the hassle and be content with your own opinion rather than trying to force it on to others.
你现在看出来了吧？对于你深爱着你的国家和对于出生成长的国家的民族自豪感，这一点我非常认同！但是如果我是你的话我不会浪费时间去说服一个非美国人去相信美国是最好的国家因为事实不是你所看到的。所以还是省省吧别浪费精力把自己的观点强加于人了。
