过年胖三斤，盘点跟减肥、健身相关的英语！

大过年吃胖太可怕了，都不敢往称上站，生怕自己一个不小心就把小称同志给压爆了。今天皮卡丘就想和大家聊聊减肥的那些事。

1、V lines

人鱼线

例句：

She has v lines ,what a nice killer body.

形容女性有killer body(极品身材）

2、Ripped

如果一个人的肌肉很明显，你就可以说他是ripped.

例句：

Through his slightly-too-tight shirt you could see he was ripped.

透过他微微有点紧身的衬衫，你能看出他有一身肌肉。

3、burn/ torch / shed

除了lose weight, 燃脂、减赘肉还可以用这几个高级词：burn/ torch / shed。

例句：

It is time to shed a bit of body fat before you hit the waves.

是时候甩掉赘肉了，要不然怎么去海滩。

4、Workout

指持续一段时间的体育锻炼，也可以用做复数，如 chest workouts, shoulder workouts.

work out 也可以当做动词。

例句：

This workout can help improve the strength of the core muscles.

这个运动可以增强你核心肌肉的力量。

He works out regularly at the gym.

他经常去健身房锻炼。

锻炼还可以用exercise, 健身可以用fitness表达，健美或塑形是bodybuilding.

5、Scrawny

Scrawny means someone who is so thin that their bones can be visibly clear on their body.

这个词就是表示，瘦的跟皮包骨似的。

例句：

The vulture extended his scrawny neck and retracted it again.

秃鹫把它皮包骨的脖子伸了伸又缩了回去。

6、Slim

Slim describes someone who is not too thin but looks healthy.

苗条，就是指这个人看上去不是特别瘦，看上去很健康。

例句：

Some people will gain weight, no matter how hard they try to slim.

7、Petite

Petite is used to describe girls who are short and slim.

娇小的，用来形容女生比较苗条，还比较矮。

例句：

8、Lean

Lean means someone who is slim.

lean 通常用来形容比较瘦的男生。

例句：

He is lean because he is a long distance runner.

9、Obese

Obese is someone who is not fit at all and has more fat than usual.

Obese 指的是过度肥胖。

10、chubby

胖乎乎的 （指微胖）

例句：

I was born cherubic and chubby.

11、Curvy

Curvy: usually to describe a woman who has a great body but she is not slim.
