No. 1How to Be Parisian Wherever

It's a long time when I read a HOW book before I read this How to be Parisian Wherever You Are. I just think they are useless for me, who's decisive as reading, but takes no actions afterwards. However, after several months' nearly-no-reading life, I was attracted by the cover and PARISIAN in the title.

After three evenings' buried in the book and the dictionary, I finished it finally, not very clearly, just because I forgot the new words as soon as I went on the text. However, I kept several in my mind. Listed as below:

leek, peppercorn, celery, parsley, mustard, cornishon (foods)

lash(es), mascara, freckle, pimple, concealer, eyebrow, moisturiser (make up)

buckle down/ go to great lengths

swear by

showstopper

to no avail

V-neck sweater

As for the contents, I have to say the Parisiennes just follow their hearts to do whatever they want, without worrying about what others think about them. As I learned before, the books, or the dreams, or somebody, they just come into your life and tell you a lesson, then disappear! So this book just came into my life and tell me to restart my own life once again. Read in English, and write in English. Just do what I want.
