口语用法：hadda 必须 / wanna 想要 / gotta 得

1.hadda=had to
例句
口语：I hadda leave;it was getting too late.
较正式：I had to leave because it was getting too late.
(因为已经太晚了，所以我必须离开。）

2.wanna=want to
例句
口语：I wanna give you a big (bear) hug.Thank you so much!
较正式：I want to give you a big hug.Thank you so much!
(我想给你一个大大的拥抱（熊抱）。太谢谢你了！）

3.gotta=got to
例句
口语：I gotta go to the boutique before it closes.
较正式：I've got to go to the boutique before it closes.
(我得在精品店关门前去一趟。）

Strike while the iron is hot.打铁趁热。

例句：
"Strike while the iron is hot" means make the most of an opportunity,
don't wait too long.
("Strike while the iron is hot" 意思是要把握机会，别等太久)
Mike doesn't often make such offers. I'd strike while the iron is hot if I were you.
(Mike不常主动提出这样的提议，我要是你就打铁趁热。）

make the most of it 充分利用

例句：
Emma planned to make the most of her trip to China,and decided to visit
as many cities as possible while she was there.
(艾玛计划要好好运用去中国的旅程，并决定到时要尽她所能的去多个城市观光。）

date back to 追朔于、起源于

例句：
The Mona Lisa dates back to 1503.
（蒙娜丽莎画作是起源于1503年。）
The Mona Lisa painting was made in1503.
（蒙娜丽莎画作是于1503年绘制。）

opportunity be lost 错失机会
=you missed the opportunity

例句：
I lost the opportunity to attend the top university because I didn't study
hard enough.
(因为不够努力学习，所以我错失了上顶尖大学的机会。)
They didn't have time to visit the movie premiere so the opportunity to
meet Leonardo DiCaprio was lost.
(我们没时间去电影首映会，所以错失了见到李奥纳多‧狄卡皮欧的机会。)

take the advantage of... 充分把握...

-正面意义：想要充分把握某件事
-负面意义：利用某物或某人为自己谋利

例句：
正面▼
I am going to take adventage of my holiday and spend all my time at the beach!
(我要好好把握我的休假，把所有时间都花在海滩上！）
負面▼
I feel like my friend is always taking advantage of my generosity.
(我觉得我的朋友总是在利用我的慷慨。)
