In my consultancy job, I always tried to keep to a nine hour day.

But when you 're an entrepreneur, you live and breathe your business twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

So I have no set timetable.

However, one day it would be nice to have some weekends free.

And what about your staff; what sort of people do you look for?

I do think that business qualifications can be very helpful,

but my preference is to have people who are used to working in the service sector.

I interview a lot of dynamic and creative people, but they are not actually interested in how the business works.

So what advice would you give to people who want to start their own businesses?
