It is well known that different colors are given their own meanings. However also they can be sorted into another two categories, cool tone and warmtone, in terms of the meanings.

Cool tone means “quiet” and “freeze”. They are mainly, green, blue and purple. For example green usually is related to woods, prairie and field. As to blue, ocean, sky and water come to my mind. Besides purple makes people think of night sky and grape with an impression of elegance and nobility. Even if they are unique in details, the similarities also exist. They are nice and cool and can chill out people who are upset, as like a mysterious power.

Nevertheless, warm tone is totally opposite and being energetic is its label. It includes yellow, orange and red. Generally speaking, they are more overwhelmingly intense in contrast.Many things with warm tone, such as the sun, fire, light and gold, leave a strong impression on people. They are just like a group of outgoing people full of creative ideas, making an atmosphere of friendship.

Furthermore, we can find some practical applications in our daily life. Recently flexibly using different colors becomes more and more popular with the restaurant. Due to a tight connection of colors and mood, if possible, they can make more profit. Besides it is common that people use suitable colors in architecture and home interior design.
