发音

我的问题：restaurant /ˈres.trɒnt/; certainly/tən/, oops/u/听上去像是/ə/，eww/ˈiːuː/  Eww, that's gross/so disgusting. 句子中间不要dramatic的强调非核心意群，注意平稳。

语调：打拍子让自己慢下来。I walk to work.    重音不在don't上 Don't worry. I got your back. 我挺你

今日学：/b/,    /t/ 在/s/音后送气弱一些，但不是完全变成/d/

1. Could you tell me how to get to the train station?/ I was wondering how to get to .../Do you happen to know how to get to.../ How do I get to the City Lights Hotel?/ I'm trying to get to the Times Tower. 

get to know somebody 例如：How did you get to know me?

get to sth:  I'll send it to you when I get to my computer.    When you get to the light, turn left onto First Avenue. (turn left at the light)

2. Turn right/Make a right turn when you leave the visitor center.

3. Where can I get a taxi? -Try the taxi stand on First Avenue. It's just past the train station. 

taxi: cab   eg. hail a taxi/cab

cabbie:taxi driver

4. Well, you can take the number 12 bus and get off at 14th Street. 

5. But it might be better to walk. 

6. There's a lot of traffic this time of day. 

7. Where can I get stamps for these letters?

8. Your best bet is the post office.
