Missing word (MW): When you were talking about the story  that recently happened, I noticed that you missed out a word in one of the  sentences, “has cracked down an illegal gathering of Chinese citizens who  self-claimed as christians”. In English, we use “are” when talking about  things that exist. You should have said, “has cracked down an illegal  gathering of Chinese citizens who are self-claimed as Christians”. You wrote  “including elderly and kids“. Rather write “including the elderly and kids“.  Please be careful with your use of articles.

A Chinese-American priest has been hushed while preaching  (April 25, 2017, Harry reports at Bally’s CBD center, Guangzhou, China.) A  united law enforcement unit of Guangzhou, has cracked down an illegal  gathering of Chinese citizens whoareself-claimed as Christians, and held up their organizers  for further interrogations. Among other spoils of this unexpected swoop-down  is about a ton of books and materials. Informed by pro-authority local  residents, local police department learned in advance that a house church,  hosted by Mr. Huang, had invited Mr. Wang Zhiyong, a priest from Sussex,  Virginia,United  States, to give religious lectures in Guangzhou. Immediately, other  authorities concerned were also alerted. An injunction was issued to Mr.  Huang who was ordered to cancel the event in his house church. However, among  the believers there was a businessman who offered a luxury conference room of  his company to the banned church activities. With the instruction of  higher-level leaders, a join-hands law enforcement team was forged instantly,  which includes well equipped police and plainclothesmen of Public Security  Bureau, officers from Guangzhou Branches of National Security Bureau and  China’s Religious Affairs Bureau, security guards and auxiliaries of the CBD  center, etc. An absolute Armada! Morning, packing with hundreds of Christians,  including kidsandtheelderly, the  conference room is resonating Mr. Wang’s preaching: believe in God; follow up  Jesus Christ and theteachingof the Bible… Almost none of them detects that they have been surrounded by  hundreds of raiders who, spamming into the room, shut down the microphone  abruptly. While many others are scared, Ms. Song Shaozhe, an official  employee of China’s State Administration for Industry and Commerce, stands up  to blame that the law enforcement raid is violating China’s laws and  procedures inmanyways. She even claims that she has smelled alcohol from the breaths of a  chief officer. How ridiculous! Soon, she was escorted to the local police  office for further education, and luckily released late afternoon of the day.  Ms. Ketty Tan, one of associates of the priest, was also questioned. She came  fromHong Kong, and, with her tongue-tied speaking of Mandarin dialect, she  made several interrogators laughing and then losing temper and patience.  Everything went as expected except for one man, Mr. ChengZhunqiang, a human  rights lawyer. When the law enforcement raid was concluding in the  mid-afternoon, there came he. “Where is Mr. Wang the priest? Has he eaten  lunch?” He urged. When an officer answered “Who are you? It has none of your  business!”, Cheng shouted back, accusing this law enforcement raid is  completely illegal. Almost caught off-guard, the officers in the room were  overwhelmed. To prevent loosing control of the situation, they released Mr.  Wang the priest. “Behave your men!” They warned him, and then left, with  their trucks loaded, and with dozens of Christians left behind sticking  around in the empty conference room, murmuring prayers repeatedly. Tears  drench their eyes. Mr. WangZhiyongis a Chinese. He graduated from China University of  Politics & Law, and was a student activist in 89/64TiananmenSquare  Movement. He baptized to be a Christian about 20 years ago, and emigrated to  America 10 years ago. Even though he has become an eminent priest in America,  he may overlook that China is now the second largest economy leaded by the  most powerful political party in the world.
