The Green Face Monster

One day, Eric wanted to play with his friend Jack. But Jack lived in a field behind the mountain. So Eric must climb over the mountain to see his friend.

'Now I'm ready to go!' he said.

It was a sunny morning. But when he got into the forest of the mountain, it was getting darker and darker.

It was very quiet. Eric could only hear his steps.

Suddenly, he heard a noise behind a very very big tree. Hmmmm...

He was a bit of afraid, but he said to himself, it was a rabbit, or a cat...

But as he getting closer to the tree, the noise was even louder, like an angry big cat..

No no, it was not a cat. It was not a tiger. It was a monster! A REAL MONSTER! Whaaooo!

The monster's head and face were green. It had two very long ears, only one eye. Its nose were very very big.

Eric was frightened, but he was a brave boy. He took out his toy gun, pointed to the monster.

'Go away! Or I will fire!' He said loudly to the monster.

The monster was frightened and it fell off and bumped its head. 'Ouch!' the monster could speak!

Now Eric saw that the monster's face was broken. It was a mask!!! It was not a real monster! It was a boy!! A naughty boy!

Who's that boy?It was Jack!!

"What are you doing here, Jack?" Eric asked in surprise.

"I'm playing with my monster mask! I want to give you a surprise!" Jack answered.

"A surprise? You frightened me! " Eric said angrily.

"Sorry, Eric. I won't do that again." said Jack. "My father made a new house nearby. Let's go there and play!"

"A new house? I just want to play with you!" said Eric.

"That's easy. There are many rooms in our new house, so we can play hide and seek!" said Jack.

"OK, let's go. " said Eric.

So, they went to the new house, and Eric and Jack spend a whole day there. They were very happy.
