I have economics and business background in China. But to start a new business in other country is different in some way.

Many Chinese migrates are doing Chinese restaurants, l think because that don't need much English and most of customers are Chinese.

There are only about ten per cent of Chinese in Auckland population. I didn't want join the narrow market with big competition.

In December 2006, The CEO and a product manager of Partmaster went China to visit the world automotive parts show in shanghai. Landsay, the CEO asked me to go with them to china as interpreter. We had two weeks travel around Shanghai, zhejiang and jiangsu.

I have had a good chance to talk with Landsay about my career and got very valuable advice from him. Landsay said he could help me to do business.

After that, I came back to New Zealand, I keep the full time job at Partmaster and start to import some products from China to supply Partmaster and put online to sell.
