第三单元:物代
上节课我们学习了my及-’s等表示拥有的形容词。其中,只有-’s是可以兼做定语和表语的,my等一众词只能做定语。 本节课我们继续学习这些表示拥有的词的代词形式及“你我他”的宾语形式。

除了mine之外,“代词版拥有”是在“定语版拥有”的词尾加上-s。定语版的his已经是-s结尾,因此表语版的就不再叠加s了。 its不作表语!可以说They are its legs. 但不说The legs are its!

知识点:物主代词
mine等词在术语中称为“物主代词”,即表明事物拥有者的代词。
这类词的代词属性体现在它们既可以做表语,也可以做主语和宾语。比如:

-’s除了形容词之外,也可作代词,词法上可视为my/mine的结合。比如:

宾语版“你我他”
I / you / he / she / it / we / they 等词的词性也是代词,但它们都只能做主语。用作宾语或表语时需要改变形式。
