In a faraway land, there lived a friendly giant. He made a living (维生)by entertaining (娱乐) visitors of his castle in the daytime (在白天). Since he was so huge and a little bit chubby (胖嘟嘟的), he seemed like a rounded (圆圆的) balloon if you looked at him at a distance (在远处).

People gave him a nickname because of that. They called him Bobby the Balloon Man.

Bobby loved that nickname until one day. He fell in love with a shining star. However, he felt unconfident in front of the star. He thought he didn’t look good enough for her. So he decided to go on a diet (节食).

Before he met the star, he was in the habit of (习惯于) eating 200 hamburgers a day. Now, he only drank lemonade (柠檬汁) and ate vegetables. Six months later, Bobby was so thin that he was no longer the Balloon Man.

When he expressed (表达) his love to the star, the star said to him: “To tell you the truth, I liked you more when you looked like a balloon. At least I could still see you at that time.”

故事就是这样…气球人因为在天上的星星面前感到不自信而节食。不巧的是，减肥成功后，星星看不到跑气了的气球人了。
