Let me stay aware, each moment, of what I am wanting to contribute, rather than of what I am wanting to get.

Let me see the beauty in others, and be touched by the beauty in myself.

Let me hear beyond the words, to the life that is alive in each heart.

Let me speak from that place within me where compassion flows, and let my words bring understanding rather than blame.

May I remember, again and again, that every action is but an attempt to meet Needs we all share.
