终于可以带兔小兔去看望外公外婆了，
在此之前，他们只能通过图像、声音来感受她。
他们也很好奇，
这到底是个什么样的孩子？！
Finally it’s time for Little Bunny
to visit the grandparents.
They’ve been curious for so long
after knowing her through photos and audios,
which aroused their curiosity to find out
what Little Bunny would be like exactly？

家人带小兔去看大海，
见到汹涌而来的潮水，
她吓坏了，“这是什么啊？”
We took her to the seashore.
When seeing the stormy tides,
she was scared and asked,“What’s this?”

跑到沙滩上，
小兔抓起一把沙子用舌头舔，
“这可以吃吗？”
When running on the beach,
Little Bunny grabbed a handful of sands
and licked them, asking :
“Are these edible?”

见到岩石上的一片藤壶，她又问，
它们躲起来也是害怕大海吗？家人大笑。
When seeing some barnacles on the rock,
she had another question,
“ Are they hiding because
they are scared of the sea too?”
Everyone burst into laughter.

晚上，小兔看到墙角有一个蜘蛛网。
她问，“那个白色的小袋子是什么呢？”
In the evening,
Little Bunny found a spider web in a corner.
She asked, “ What’s that white bag for？”

兔爸爸说，
“噢，我也不知道，我们一起查查吧！"
Daddy Rabbit replied,
“Oh Sorry, I don’t know either,
how about searching for an answer together?”

次日，小兔兴奋地醒起，
咦，蜘蛛网，怎么不见了。
“我的蜘蛛在哪里？”她大叫起来……
The next morning when Little Bunny
got up with excitement but only to find
that the spider wed was gone.
“ Where has my spider web gone?” she cried…

闻声而来的外婆问，“怎么了？”
“让孩子可以观察蜘蛛习性的网没了”，我说。
“哎哟，一大早我扫了，
蜘蛛网有什么好看的，
我带你去坐摇摇车。”
她一听“哇”的一声哭起来了！
“我们去找蜘蛛，它大概在另外地方结网了”，
我拉起小兔往外走，她又兴奋起来了.....
Grandma came to see what was happening,
I told her that the web for observing spider’s habits
was no longer there.
“ Oh, I cleaned off the spider web this morning.
Anyway there’s nothing fun about a web,
better go and have fun with a rocking car.”
These words brought Little Bunny to tears immediately.
I told her that we could go to look for the spider
as it might have gone to a new place for a web.
We went out hand in hand,
and she was cheered up.

Curiosity is like a bud of a kid’s wisdom
which we should protect and cultivate
not only with encouragement
but also with an open mind
by standing on the kid’s side,
letting them cultivate the continuous
interests during their own exploring,
instead of offering answers with efforts willingly.
There’re so many wonderful
and splendid places in the world,
where only those who are curious
and able to explore can reach,
leading more people to search
for places farther and farther…
