The Wetlands of Sungei Buloh
The Wetlands of Sungei Buloh
By Kuan Sun
I see the birds flying past, with the sunlight of morning
It's like a group of poets reading their new poems
some of them singing loudly, the others chanting softly
They awake the serenity and the seasons
also hid the great pleasure thoughtless in desert places
Eventually, it will be decayed, no matter how generous or frivolous
Fallen leaves over the ground, the bed of animals
Early in the morning, the stars are strumming on the harp
The toco toucan and a pelican have just drunk a piece of water
Long-legged red cranes and white cranes, checking their drums and stilts
Sea crabs are building something as though the mud are their sky
These lazy little otters cold-shouldered the giant lizards
I'm chasing these complicated signals from the daybreak
Among the barrens, it's a natural beauty without shame
It's their confidence as well as the luxurious calmness
