就这儿

狗狗做下这等好事，
它就等着，悄无声息，并笃定
等待才是要义所在。

想来是这个长长久久
就是抽屉里那一个，
或在衣服的扣眼中。

之前所有的奋身呐喊
已在街上放声高歌，
现在又做得这么爽利。

这儿还有个段子，
我以前从没听过，
我其实也好烦哦。

就是说，若狗狗在地毯上
尿尿，我也会烦它
对你来说也太怂了。

就是说，如果你孤单一人
而爱又从八方涌来，
我们都用不孤寂的声音
来轻碰我们孤寂的帽子。

译注：
1、你真好烦哦原文为I hate it for you，也常常说为 I'd hate for you to do something，用来强调言者也不想让这坏事情发生，其实诗人在下一段就给出了这句段子的内涵，这又与第一行写的狗狗做下的“好事情”想呼应。
2、轻碰，原文为tip，也有向某人致敬、致意的意思。

The dog does this beautiful thing,
it waits. It stills itself and determines
that the waiting is essential.

I suppose this eternity
is the one inside the drawer,
inside the buttonhole.

All the shouting before
was done out loud, on the street,
and now it’s done so shushing-ly.

There is a saying down here,
I’d never heard before,
I hate it for you.

It means, if the dog pees
on the carpet, I hate it
for you, Too bad for you.

It means, if you’re alone,
when love is all around,
We all tip our lonely hats
in one un-lonely sound.
